Book 1: The Lost Hero

Jason wakes up on the back of a school bus with people he doesn’t know. A girl sitting next to him thinks he’s her boyfriend. Piper, Jason, and Leo soon have to fight these storm spirits, and right after they get picked up by two people who bring them to a place called Camp Half Blood. Right after they get there, they start seeing things, and they soon figure out that the god Hera has stolen Jason’s memory. They have to go on a quest to get Jason’s memory back.

I think this book has lots of humor, great fiery metal dragons, and good battles that have lots of action. My favorite character is Leo because he is really funny, likes to build stuff, and plays with fire. When they were fighting the cyclops, it had a lot of action because Jason and Piper got caught. Leo has to save them…

This is definitely the book to read after the Percy Jackson series. This is the first book out of a five book series.
