Book 2: The Chamber of Secrets
A house elf named Dobby comes over and says that Harry should 
not go to hogwarts. But Harry has been looking forward to going there so much, so he goes anyway. When he gets to the station, something weird happens. He can’t get through the barrier that gets him to the train, so he and Ron have to take an unexpected journey to get there. But when he gets there, he hears weird voices that nobody else hears. Something weird is happening in Hogwarts and it’s up to Harry to figure it out.
This book is my personal favorite of the series. It’s got a lot of funny jokes and really cool magic. One of my favorite parts is when Harry was in the chamber and fighting the python. This is a really good book and got me to read, not just the rest of the series, but a lot more books. I think J.K. Rowling did a very good job writing this book. This is the second book of a seven book series.
Harry has to live with his muggle parents who are downright terrible. But then letters start arriving by owls addressed to Harry. His parents don’t let him read them as more and more letters continue showing up. Finally, Hagrid comes and takes Harry to a real magic school. He and his friends, Ron and Hermione, soon figure out that there’s an object that is hidden and somebody’s trying to steal it. Will he get there in time or will the evil person get there first?
